First published in Munich in 1914, this collection features 81 drawings that showcase the artist's growth and evolution over time. The drawings range from Durer's self-portrait at the age of 13 to his famous 'Head of Saint Mark', created just before his death in 1526. The selection includes both well-known works and lesser-known pieces, as well as sketches prepared for other artistic mediums, such as woodcuts.
