In a world on the brink of catastrophic collapse, a desperate struggle for survival emerges. The Doomed Apocalyptic Horror Hunting: A Wargame is a quick-playing, rules-light skirmish wargame where small warbands of hunters compete to destroy unique Horrors in a bleak sci-fi world. Each Horror has its own strengths, weaknesses, and tactics, requiring hunters to employ stealth, cunning, and brute force to succeed. Scenarios are defined by the Horror being hunted and the Conflict in which the hunt takes place, with secondary objectives pitting warbands against each other as well as the Horror. Campaigns build towards a climax, with hunters gaining prestige and renown, unlocking new options for their warband. As the five dooms grow in power, the hunters' success becomes increasingly crucial, threatening to deliver their own climax to the campaign if they fail. This gripping wargame challenges players to navigate the treacherous landscape, making tough decisions and adapting to the unpredictable.
