Description

Ashok Rajamani's life was turned upside down after a devastating brain bleed at just twenty-five years old. In this candid and humorous memoir, he recounts the events leading up to his accident, including the day his brain "exploded" - just before his brother's wedding! - as well as his long and difficult recovery period.

With his family serving as both a source of support and frustration, Rajamani shares his remarkable story with irreverence, anger, and a sense of humor. His journey is one of survival, resilience, and the power of storytelling. Despite ongoing health challenges, he has reestablished a productive artistic life and is dedicated to helping others who have faced similar catastrophes.

This memoir is a revelatory and thought-provoking account that will appeal to readers interested in medical narratives, personal stories of survival, and the complexities of identity and recovery.
