Description

The Collected Neil the Horse brings together the complete 15 issues of this unique and original musical comic book series. Created by Katherine Collins, who took over from the original artist Arn Saba, Neil is a hybrid comic that blends elements of Carl Barks' style with the music hall era of Fred Astaire.

The series follows the adventures of Neil, a happy-go-lucky horse with a passion for bananas, and his friends Soapy and Mam'selle Poupee, as they navigate a mix of slapstick comedy, romance, and show business. With its distinctive blend of music, art, and absurdity, Neil the Horse is a true original.

This collection includes brand-new commentary by Katherine Collins, rare art, sheet music to accompany the stories, and reprints of early syndicated newspaper strips. A must-have for fans of comics, musical theatre, and anyone looking for something new and unusual.
