Description

Zoe Barlow's life as an artist in 1920s Paris is turned upside down when she discovers a lost Chagall masterpiece at a flea market. Her search for more art leads her to the storage shed of a mysterious woman, Laurette, who turns out to be dead and brutally murdered. With the police too busy with Olympics-related crimes to investigate, Zoe begins her own inquiry into Laurette's death. As she delves deeper, she uncovers a web of resentments towards the victim, but it remains unclear whether the stolen paintings played a role in her murder or if it was a crime of passion. A second murder victim is soon discovered, putting pressure on Zoe to find the killer before time runs out.
