The Cats Who Wanted More by Katie Sahota and Naomi Tipping is a thought-provoking tale about the consequences of excess. As life is disrupted and humans stay home, cats devise a plan to take control of their food supply, sparking a chain reaction that highlights the impact of capitalism on poverty and greed. This topical satire explores the relationship between those who have more than they need and those who struggle to survive. With its engaging storyline and timely themes, this book is an excellent choice for parents or educators looking for a way to discuss important issues with children. By examining the consequences of unchecked greed, The Cats Who Wanted More offers a valuable lesson about the importance of balance and fairness in our society.
