Description
Sharp, funny, and original, The Beast and the Bethany is a modern tale that will leave you smiling. Ebenezer Tweezer's unusual arrangement with his attic beast may seem like a strange bargain, but it's a deal that's kept him young and beautiful for 511 years.
However, when Ebenezer meets orphan Bethany, his life is turned upside down. The beast's appetite for human flesh grows ever greedier, and Bethany's arrival sets off a chain of events that will change everything. Will Ebenezer's peculiar arrangement with the beast be enough to save the day, or will Bethany become the beast's next meal?
Written by debut author Jack Meggitt-Phillips, this exciting new children's book combines the dark humour of Roald Dahl with the warmth and charm of beloved films like Despicable Me and Little Shop of Horrors. A must-have for any little monster's birthday or Christmas list, The Beast and the Bethany is a feast of a read that will leave you eager for more.
