Formed by a group of British servicemen, the 43 Group waged a five-year campaign against Mosley's British Union of Fascists, employing a unique strategy of "Discuss, Decide and Do it" to disrupt and dismantle the fascist movement. Through a combination of military discipline and covert operations, the 43 Group successfully shut down thousands of fascist meetings and rallies, leaving the movement in disarray. The Group's tactics, which included "wedges" of activists storming speaker platforms, proved highly effective in countering the fascist threat. By the time the 43 Group disbanded in 1950, it had effectively neutralized two-thirds of all fascist activity in the UK.
