Description

Matt Le Tissier's memoirs offer a unique insight into the life and career of one of Britain's most gifted footballers. A true original, Le Tissier defies categorization as a player who was both admired for his skill and criticized for his work rate. The Southampton legend shares stories from his 16-year career with humor and humility, revealing a man who was more comfortable in the spotlight than on the training pitch. With no trophies to show for it, Le Tissier's achievements are all the more remarkable given the era in which he played. In "Taking Le Tiss", the former England hopeful answers questions about his career, his style of play, and what might have been if he had received more recognition from the national team. A witty and self-deprecating account that offers a fascinating glimpse into the world of professional football.
