Description

Graham "Ghastly" Ingels's unsettling stories from EC Comics remain shocking even 60 years after their original release. His distinctive style depicts the darker aspects of human nature, often combining elements of horror, decay and the supernatural. This collection showcases 25 stories from various EC Comics titles, including Tales From the Crypt, Shock Suspen-Stories, Vault of Horror, and Haunt of Fear. The stories are accompanied by historical, critical and biographical material, providing a unique insight into Ingels's work and the era in which he created them. The result is a collection that retains its power to shock and disturb, with some tales standing out for their graphic content and vivid imagery.
