Description
Tom Wells's play "Stuff" explores the complexities of friendship and loss through the story of Vinny's surprise birthday party for his friend Anita. As things don't quite go as planned, Vinny is left to navigate the challenges of trying to do the right thing for his mate. The play offers a nuanced portrayal of relationships and the difficulties that can arise when people try to support each other. With its ensemble cast of teenagers, "Stuff" provides rich opportunities for young actors to bring this story to life. Written specifically for young audiences, "Stuff" was premiered by youth theatres across the UK as part of the 2019 National Theatre Connections Festival.
