Description

Straight White Men and Untitled Feminist Show: Two Plays by Young Jean Lee is a thought-provoking collection of two plays that challenge traditional narratives. In Straight White Men, a family's festive gathering takes an unexpected turn when they're forced to confront their identities. This raucous and surprising play sheds new light on the father/son relationship. In contrast, Untitled Feminist Show is a vibrant celebration of fluid identity, featuring six charismatic performers from various artistic backgrounds. The nearly wordless show is both exhilarating and irreverent, making it a standout in the world of theatre. Both plays showcase Young Jean Lee's groundbreaking work as a playwright, known for her humor, transgression, and fearless approach to storytelling.
