Description
Tom Sleigh's latest collection, Station Zed Poems, presents a unique truth unadulterated and unmistakable. Through his experiences as a journalist in various countries, including Lebanon, Somalia, Iraq, and Libya, Sleigh brings to these poems a distinct voice. In this collection, the poet weaves together disparate threads of grief, history, and poetic traditions, drawing inspiration from Scottish ballads and the journeys of Basho. The result is a powerful and evocative work that showcases Sleigh's mastery of language and form. With 113 pages of tightly crafted verse, Station Zed Poems is a significant addition to Tom Sleigh's oeuvre, one that will appeal to readers interested in literary criticism, poetry, and the works of American poets.
