Description
The Sight Reading Flute Grades 6-8 method provides a carefully paced approach to the sight reading requirements of Trinity grade exams. This progressive guide is designed to help students build confidence and rhythmic fluency through a series of lessons and exercises.
Each grade section consists of ten lessons, each with a clear area of focus. The lessons include stage-appropriate sight reading tips, as well as specific advice for the flute. The accompanying duets are designed to encourage the development of ensemble sight reading skills, while also helping students to build confidence and familiarity with the music.
Official Trinity specimen sight reading tests are included at the end of each grade section, providing students with a realistic assessment of their progress. By completing the ten lessons, students should be well-prepared to tackle the demands of these tests.
