Description
ShieldMaster: The Phoenix Project is a full-color graphic novel based on legendary accounts about an abandoned U.S. military base off Long Island, New York. Four senior high school friends stumble upon mysterious shield-like alien objects hidden in one of the base's underground tunnels.
The strange objects transform the friends into powerful warriors that once protected another world in another dimension. As all hell is about to be unleashed on Earth, they must deal with the consequences of accepting unexamined things into their lives! This graphic novel follows a bande dessinée style and reads like a sci-fi animated adventure.
ShieldMaster: The Phoenix Project combines elements of retro comic book iconography and story, drawing inspiration from the legendary Montauk Project/Conspiracy. With its unique blend of sci-fi, adventure, fantasy, superheroes, teen angst, alien power transfer, and more, this graphic novel is a thrilling send-off homage to retro comic book culture.
