Description

Sherlock Holmes and the Hilldrop Crescent Mystery by Val Andrews is a unique blend of fact and fiction that delves into one of history's most infamous cases. In 1910, Dr. Crippen was arrested after his wife's murder, with circumstantial evidence pointing to his guilt. However, the case remains shrouded in controversy, with many questioning his conviction. This book presents two sides of the story: the factual account of the case as outlined by award-winning journalist David James Smith, and a cleverly woven fictional narrative by Val Andrews. By reading both versions, you can form your own opinion on the events of 100 years ago. The result is a gripping tale that challenges readers to consider alternative perspectives. With its blend of fact and fiction, Sherlock Holmes and the Hilldrop Crescent Mystery offers a fascinating insight into one of history's most enduring mysteries.
