Description
Sequoia: Presidential Yacht by Giles M. Kelly This 104-foot wooden motor yacht has played host to eight U.S. presidents and become an iconic figure on the Chesapeake Bay. Built in 1925, Sequoia was designed by Trumpy and features a rich history that spans several decades. Giles M. Kelly's experiences as skipper of the yacht from 1983 to 1988 provided him with a unique perspective on its many "sea stories". Through primary research and interviews with those who served and visited aboard, Kelly uncovered the truth behind Sequoia's fascinating history, offering an Upstairs, Downstairs perspective that lends a new level of appeal to this saga.
