Description

Billy Saunders' life took an unexpected turn when he was admitted to Peace Hall Care Home. He had been suffering from mid-term Alzheimer's disease, which was slowly eroding his memory and brain function. Despite the progression of the disease, Billy's love for his wife Rose remained strong. They had shared a remarkable romance that spanned almost seven decades, and their devotion to each other only deepened as they grew older together. However, when Rose fell ill, their idyll was disrupted, and she eventually moved into the care home. It was there, in this new setting, that Billy and Rose rediscovered each other, falling in love for the second time around. This poignant story explores the enduring power of true love and devotion, even in the face of adversity.
