Description
Exploring the complexities of identity and choice, Second Person Narrative by Jemma Kennedy is part of Platform, a new initiative from Tonic Theatre in partnership with Nick Hern Books. This play aims to address gender imbalance and inequality in theatre.
Aimed at empowering young people through drama, Platform brings together big-cast plays with predominantly or all-female casts, written specifically for performance by school, college and youth-theatre groups. By using this powerful tool, girls can access benefits that have traditionally been available to their male counterparts.
