Description

Sanctus by Matthew Lyon Hazzard is a captivating SSAATTBB unaccompanied piece for choir. The Latin Mass text is set to create an energetic and engaging experience, with complex metres, body percussion, and dynamic changes that build in intensity. A highlight of the work is the exuberant 'Hosanna!' section, where the pulsating energy bursts forth from beneath a surface tension of slow-building swells.
