Sàlvate, la vida te espera

Boris Cyrulnik's memoir offers a profound analysis of memory, imagination, and recollection through his own story of overcoming trauma. Born to parents who were murdered in concentration camps, Cyrulnik's childhood was marked by separation and survival. This experience has shaped his understanding of the human mind and informs his exploration of the complex relationship between trauma, healing, and the power of memory. Cyrulnik argues that memory is not a reconstruction of the past, but rather its representation - a unique truth that belongs to the individual who recalls it. His book delves into the world of silence and indifference that often follows traumatic events, as well as the bonds that can heal and connect us. Through his personal narrative, Cyrulnik provides a powerful exploration of the human experience, one that is both deeply personal and universally relatable.
