Marked by lyrical beauty and spiritual insight, Rumi's verses bring together the divine and the human, the mystical and the corporeal to create a vivid kaleidoscope of poetic images. Farrukh Dhondy's translations aim to preserve the original metre and sensibility of the poems while providing a modern idiom. Carefully crafted to maintain their religious context, these translations offer a fresh perspective on Rumi's work, allowing readers to engage with his poetry in a new way. With 180 pages of poetic beauty and spiritual insight, this book is an excellent choice for anyone interested in exploring the works of Jalaluddin Rumi.
