Description
Ordell "Whitebread" Robbie makes a living selling illegal high-powered weaponry to the wrong people. His courier, Jackie Burke, is responsible for delivering his profits from Freeport to Miami. However, the authorities are closing in on her, and she must now choose between prison time or cooperation. With the help of Max Cherry, an honest but disgruntled bail bondsman looking to get out, Jackie may be able to secure a better future. As Ordell's situation becomes increasingly precarious, he needs to tie up loose ends permanently. But Jackie has other options in mind, and she's not afraid to take risks. This gripping novel explores the complex web of crime and deception that Jackie and Ordell inhabit. With its tense plot and memorable characters, it's a compelling read for fans of crime fiction.
