Description
The Royal Crown Derby Paperweights: A Comprehensive Guide. In 1981, a special event at Chatsworth House marked the introduction of six new paperweight designs in animal form, which would go on to inspire over 400 models. The success of this range has been reflected in its expansion and the development of limited editions and exclusives, stimulating the collector's market. The Royal Crown Derby Collectors Guild provides a valuable platform for collectors to share news, buy special editions, and attend events. This revised edition of Ian Cox's book is an essential resource for enthusiasts and collectors, featuring a new chapter and a fully illustrated catalogue of all production paperweights since 1981. In addition, the miniature ranges of Teddies, Treasures of Childhood, and Buildings are also included. With so much variety in the range and new models regularly introduced, collectors have never been better equipped to acquire information about Royal Crown Derby paperweights. This book is a must-have for anyone looking to expand their knowledge or enhance their collection.
