Description

Rowdy: The Roddy Piper Story is an autobiography by Roderick Toombs, aka Rowdy Roddy Piper, re-conceived and completed by his children, Ariel Teal Toombs and Colt Baird Toombs. Written after Piper's death in 2015, the book offers a unique insight into the life of one of pro wrestling's greatest talents.

Piper's career spanned over six decades, during which he became known for his quick wit, explosive ring style, and fearless baiting of audiences. He was a key figure in pushing pro wrestling to unprecedented success, and his rivalry with Hulk Hogan is still remembered today. This autobiography provides a rare glimpse into Piper's life, separating fact from fiction as his children worked to bring his story to life.

With over 50 screen credits, including the lead in John Carpenter's cult classic They Live, Piper knew how to keep fans engaged and hungry for more. Now, his family has completed his unfinished autobiography, offering a unique perspective on one of wrestling's most colourful characters.
