Description
The Romans: A Commentary by J. Martin provides an in-depth exploration of Paul's letter to the Romans. Written with the intention that readers would understand the text without further explanation, this commentary aims to revitalize interest in the book of Romans as it was written and meant to be understood. A key aspect of this work is its focus on the reconciliation of God's sovereignty and man's free will. The author draws attention to the words and phrases of the text, highlighting those that are imperative for understanding and claiming. This commentary uses the Jubilee Bible translation, which provides a unique approach to translating Hebrew words into English. By examining the language and meaning of Romans in detail, this commentary offers a fresh perspective on Paul's letter and its relevance today.
