Description

Amelia & the Animals by Donna Gustafson is a unique photographic collaboration between mother and daughter. Since Amelia was three years old, she has been her mother's muse, with portraits of herself with various animals hanging in major art museums around the world. These images offer more than just documentation of their encounters; they serve as evidence of a shared journey into invented worlds. They meditate on the nature of interspecies communication and invite the viewer to consider the special bond between humans and animals. Robin Schwartz, the photographer behind this series, is an accomplished artist with her work held in prominent collections worldwide.
