Description

Marcia Resnick: Re-Visions is a 1978 artist's book that explores adolescent girlhood through staged photographs. In response to a life-changing car crash in 1975, photographer Marcia Resnick revisited her childhood memories and created this series of black-and-white images. Accompanied by texts, these photographs convey a surreal and often humorous depiction of the trials and tribulations of girlhood. The book features a range of images that showcase Resnick's unique vision and style. This facsimile edition is a rare opportunity to experience one of the most influential artist's books of the 1970s. With its unique blend of photography, text, and memory, Marcia Resnick: Re-Visions offers a fascinating insight into the experiences of adolescent girls in the past.
