Description

In pubs and bars across the UK and beyond, people are gathering to discuss one of life's biggest questions: religion. Pastor Bryan Berghoef draws on his own experience in these informal settings to challenge traditional views of faith. He argues that God is often found in unexpected places - with those who don't share our beliefs, or in everyday conversations. Berghoof contends that the church has traditionally set the agenda for how we encounter God, but what if this approach is limiting? Instead, he suggests a more humble and open approach to faith, one that seeks to learn from others rather than teach. This book explores real-life stories of encounters and conversations in pub theology gatherings. By sharing these experiences and insights, Berghoef invites readers to rethink their understanding of God and faith. With a focus on listening and learning, this book offers a fresh perspective on how we can engage with the world's biggest questions.
