Description

Simon's life is marked by hardship and loneliness, but his love for watching possums dance along the overhead wires brings him comfort. When a small possum falls onto his car bonnet, he rescues it from two local gardeners who are determined to catch it.

This chance encounter sets Simon on a path of discovery as he learns about the world of possums and their remarkable abilities. As he devises a plan to protect them, he must confront the challenges of his own life and the enduring battle between wildlife and wild people.

Possum Soup is an exciting adventure that explores themes of homelessness, single parenthood, and one boy's courage in the face of adversity. With its unique blend of fantasy and reality, this book is a compelling read for anyone interested in stories about resilience and the power of unexpected friendships.
