Description
Posmo is a collection of essays that began with an unusual event in January 2015. A death certificate was extended to the author, Iván de la Nuez, from a funeral home in Havana. This unexpected turn of events led him to assume that his "death" would serve as a passport to navigate life's challenges. The book is a personal and philosophical exploration of mortality, identity, and the human condition. It delves into themes such as the effects of pandemics and war on culture, and offers a unique perspective on the concept of "post mortem". Through his writing, de la Nuez radicalizes his approach to anticipating and naming the world around him. This book is a vengeful expression of freedom, written by someone who has already crossed over. It is a spectral journey that spans personal experiences and cultural commentary, ultimately concluding with the notion of a "New Order Normal".
