Description
African elephant Poppet is born with a warning from his mother: mice are said to run up elephants' trunks. Determined to prove her wrong, Poppet sets out to ask various creatures if they're mice.
His search leads him to Momo the mouse, who surprisingly says yes. But Momo's words aren't what they seem, and he soon convinces Poppet that his mother's warning was just an old wives' tale. An unlikely friendship blossoms between them.
Poppet's mother is horrified by her son's new friend, but Momo's eloquence eventually wins her over. This heartwarming story explores the power of understanding and the joy of unexpected friendships.
