Description

Pilgrim: The Lord's Prayer Follow Stage Book 2 is a teaching and discipleship resource from the Church of England, designed to help individuals explore their relationship with Jesus Christ. This Christian course offers an approach that encourages participation rather than persuasion, inviting enquirers to practice biblical reflection and prayer.

Comprising two parts - Follow and Grow - each consisting of four short courses and a leaders' guide, Pilgrim provides a framework for learning about God's love revealed in Jesus Christ. The book introduces the Christian faith for complete beginners with the "Follow" stage, while the "Grow" stage aims to develop a deeper level of discipleship.

Each session combines a simple prayer, reflection on the Bible using the lectio divina style, an article by a modern writer, and time for questions and reflection. With online audio-visual resources available, Pilgrim is suitable for use at any point in the journey of discipleship and can be adapted to meet the needs of every tradition within the Church of England.
