Description

Peter Wyngarde: A Life Amongst Strangers The life story of Peter Wyngarde, a television and style icon, is a tale of two parts. His professional zenith was marked by starring roles in hit TV series Department S and Jason King, but after a mid-1970s downturn, he returned to the theatre, where he enjoyed continued success until his role as General Klytus in the 1980 blockbuster Flash Gordon. A new perspective on Wyngarde's life has emerged through Tina Wyngarde-Hopkins' biography. This book shatters long-held myths and preconceptions about the actor, revealing a complex individual with both triumphs and painful experiences. The author's honest exploration of his life and career is both eye-opening and deeply touching. At its core, this book is a story of love and devotion, one that will resonate with readers who are drawn to Wyngarde's fascinating story.
