Description

A day in the life of a door-to-door salesman becomes a journey of self-discovery. Peddling is Harry Melling's remarkable debut play about a pedlar boy who wakes up with no memory of how he came to be in a field, surrounded by the remnants of the night before. As he tries to retrace his events from the previous days, everything comes into question: his life, his world, his future. The play follows a haunting journey where difficult questions are battled and truths are sought. First performed at Hightide Festival in 2014, Peddling has been revived by HighTide at the Arcola Theatre, London, in 2015.
