Description

Partaking of God: A Trinitarian Theology of Evolution and Ecology Denis Edwards explores the intricate relationship between the natural world and the divine. Building on the foundations of dynamic trinitarian theology, this work develops a unique understanding of God's role in creation and evolution. The author examines key concepts such as the Word as the divine Attractor and the Spirit as the Energy of Love in evolutionary emergence, before delving into topics like God's suffering with creatures and the humility of God in creation. A Christian theology of ecological conversion is ultimately proposed, offering a fresh perspective on the intersection of faith and science. This book provides a thought-provoking exploration of the natural world and our place within it, inviting readers to consider the implications of a trinitarian theology for our understanding of evolution and ecology.
