Description
Willy Russell's Our Day Out and Other Plays is a collection of three short plays that showcase his unique brand of humour and insight into human nature.
The first play, Our Day Out, follows the misadventures of Mrs Kay's "Progress Class" on a chaotic school trip to Conwy Castle in Wales. With the help of their authoritarian Deputy Headmaster, Mr Briggs, the students concoct a plan to cause as much chaos as possible along the way.
This edition also includes two other short plays: The Boy with the Transistor Radio and Terraces, and I Read the News Today, offering readers a glimpse into Russell's versatility as a playwright.
