Description
Ontology and Metaontology: A Contemporary Guide is a comprehensive survey of ontology, focusing on the latest trends in the discipline. The book explores metaontology, covering key concepts, tools, and methods of ontological inquiry.
The guide then delves into concrete examples of recent research in ontology, introducing readers to various sub-fields such as events, properties, universals, abstract objects, possible worlds, material beings, and mereology. This modular structure makes the book suitable for both undergraduates and postgraduates looking to understand and apply the latest developments in ontology.
