Description

A psychedelic, gender-broke science-fiction epic reimagines Homer's Odyssey as a journey home for three legendary warrior-queens after a centuries-long battle. Told in verse with a visual sensibility that redefines the comics medium, this story begins at the end of a great war and hurtles towards its beginning. The creative team behind ODY-C brings together Matt Fraction, known for his work on Sex Criminals, and Christian Ward, whose visual style has been showcased in Infinite Vacation and Olympus. Collecting issues #1-5, this book is a mind-bending retelling of the Odyssey that will leave you eager to see where it goes. With its unique blend of poetry and science fiction, ODY-C Volume 1: Off to Far Ithicaa is an eye-searing epic that explores new possibilities in the comics medium.
