Description

Nicolas Party's L'Heure Mauve is a visually epic collection that explores the relationship between humanity and nature through art. Inspired by Ozlas Leduc's 1921 piece, L'Heure Mauve, Party interrogates the world's image by engaging with the spaces and works of the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts. This unique volume reflects Party's personal evolution, employing a distinctive graphic framework and luxurious packaging that matches its precious contents. The result is a constantly changing natural environment, where nature becomes the theater for human existence, marked by the passage of time and the finiteness of life. Text in both English and French, L'Heure Mauve offers a fascinating exploration of the intersection between art and the world around us.
