Description

On a frozen lake, two old friends are out angling for something big. Something that might just swallow them whole. In this sublimely playful and profound play, Mark Rylance draws on his own teenage years in the American Midwest. A unique collaboration between celebrated actor Mark Rylance and critically acclaimed prose poet Louis Jenkins, Nice Fish is a production that transferred direct from a sell-out run in New York to the Harold Pinter Theatre, London. Directed by Claire van Kampen and starring Rylance and Jim Lichtscheidl, this play has been performed to great acclaim. With its blend of humour and profundity, Nice Fish is a thought-provoking exploration of human need and desire.
