Description
Ash Thompson was one of the four hundred women who disguised themselves as men to fight against slavery during the American Civil War. Constance, a woman with a photograph of her husband waiting for her in her Indiana farmhouse, is one such person. She is brave and also afraid, repeating to herself that she will not run away. This book tells the story of Ash Thompson's experiences during this time. With its historical context and personal narrative, it offers a unique perspective on a pivotal moment in American history. The book is written in Spanish and has 192 pages, bound in paperback.
