Description
In 1964, Janice's life was turned upside down by the Beatles' arrival in Cleveland. Hearing "I Want to Hold Your Hand" on her AM radio sparked an obsession with the Fab Four and their music. With a friend, she hatched a plan to escape her dreary life and run away to London to meet them. The two girls made their daring escape on a TWA flight, bound for "Beatleland." In London, they immersed themselves in the city's vibrant music scene, attending hip clubs and meeting charming English musicians. However, their adventure was short-lived, as they became an international news story, with headlines reporting their search. Janice's journey ended abruptly when she was approached by a police officer near Picadilly Circus, leading to a hasty return to Cleveland and a punishment that would have far-reaching consequences for the city's music scene.
