Description

Christy Dignam's autobiography is a candid and unflinching account of his life, from his early days as a singer to his struggles with addiction and his eventual return to music. Formed in the early 1980s, Aslan became a key part of Ireland's new wave of rock acts, with their debut album Feel No Shame reaching number one in their home country. However, personal demons soon took hold, and Dignam was forced to confront the consequences of his actions. After a period of time away from the music scene, he rejoined Aslan, leading the band to a triumphant second coming. This memoir offers a vivid and often painful look at Dignam's life, with a focus on his songs and the people who have been important to him.
