Description
Persephone "Perri" Morgan has found success in two unexpected careers: handcrafting leather pet accessories and training therapy dogs. However, her latest case may prove to be more challenging than she anticipated. Perri and her friend Babette Croy team up with their canine companions to investigate a senior living facility plagued by thefts, feuds, and even threats of violence. At the heart of the mystery is Magdalen Melmoth, a resident who fears for her life due to a connection to Oscar Wilde's legacy. As Perri delves deeper into the case, she enlists the help of her beau, reporter Wing Pruett, and together they uncover a web of secrets and lies. But when a nurse is poisoned by chocolates sent to Magdalen, and a physician is brutally murdered, the situation takes a deadly turn. With their therapy dogs by their side, Perri, Babette, and Wing must work together to outsmart a killer who seems to be always one step ahead. Can they bring the perpetrator to justice before it's too late?
