Description
The story takes place in a distant future where humanity is at war with an alien life form known as "Yuks", which uses living organisms instead of mechanical spaceships and mines. After years of struggling to find a solution, a team of researchers led by Philip Kramer decides to build a spaceship powered by a human brain. They find the ideal candidate in Kramer's old professor, who volunteers to donate his brain to the project. The goal is to create a spacecraft with perfect mechanical control, achieved when a human brain is used to power it. However, something unexpected happens: a strange entity emerges, which comes to be known as Mr. Spaceship. This unusual development raises questions about the nature of consciousness and its relationship to technology.
