Their adventure was part of the famous "Osterreichische Alpenfahrt," a challenging 2650 kilometre route with 19 mountain passes to drive across in seven days.

One hundred years later, John Kennedy recreated the journey using the same car and repeating the photographs taken by Hope in 1913. This unique book showcases the original photographs, along with Kennedy's own photographs taken during the 2013 journey, highlighting the changes that have taken place over the past century.
