Description
Mr. King's Things is a humorous picture book about a cat who loves new things and discards old ones. When Mr. King throws away an item, it often ends up in the pond, only to be pulled out again when he needs something. One day, while fishing, he catches what he thinks is a monster - but it's just his own discarded things come back to haunt him. This book introduces a simple yet important environmental message about pollution and overconsumption. The story is gentle and easy to understand, making it perfect for young readers. The artwork is clean and open, with a focus on Mr. King's emotions. The story also shows creative ways to repurpose old items, inspiring children to think about recycling and reducing waste. This book could be a great starting point for classroom discussions or projects that encourage creativity and sustainability.
