The Mobile Cinema is a unique project that combines film and photography to explore different subjects. Romana Schmalisch created this mobile exhibition, which presented a montage of images and film extracts to diverse audiences at various performance venues. To enhance the experience, invited guests contributed written texts that were read aloud during the performances. Over time, materials and filmic notes collected on journeys found their way back into the Mobile Cinema programme, sometimes evolving into independent films in their own right.
