Description
Michael Craig-Martin at Chatsworth House is a unique documentation of an artist's installation in one of the UK's most historic houses. Twelve large-scale steel line drawings, each a vibrant and immersive work of art, are showcased in the gardens. The accompanying exhibition features sculptures from the Devonshire Collection, with their traditional bases replaced by bright pink plinths, alongside a selection of drawings from the Old Master Drawings Cabinet. This visually striking collection brings together works by renowned artists such as Hans Holbein, Annibale Carracci, and Ghirlandaio. A rare insight into the creative process of Michael Craig-Martin, this book offers a fascinating glimpse into his artistic vision and innovative approach to sculpture and drawing.
